Obituary SamplesReading obituary samples before writing an obituary will ensure that you write a properly formatted, well-worded obituary for your loved one. Most of us have never read an obituary, which makes writing an obituary very difficult. The fictional obituaries below all use different templates, giving you the opportunity to choose an obituary that is worded the way you like. Read a few of the samples and pay attention to what information is included and excluded as well as the order of the obituary. Next, read our articles on how to write an obituary then download an obituary template to use to write an obituary for your loved one.
