Sample Eulogy For FriendIf a friend of yours has passed away you can pay tribute to their life by writing a eulogy. Reading a sample eulogy for a friend will help show you how a eulogy is written and what is typically included. You can also get assistance by speaking to other friends or family members who have written and delivered eulogies at funerals before.

Writing a eulogy is a significant and special task that requires ample preparation so that everything that one wants to say would be shared. That is why, by reading a sample eulogy for a friend then writing your own eulogy, you will be sure to get all the relevant information written down so nothing will be missed.

The best eulogies include interesting personal experiences that have been shared with the friend when he was still alive. It may also include the things that made the friend happy and other memorable shared experiences.

However, one must keep in mind that in delivering this speech, it’s a must not to limit the eulogy to personal experiences with the friend. It would make the speech more meaningful if one were to ask the help of the members of the friend’s family, too. They also have a tale to tell, and this may add a vital point in the speech and make it more special.

In writing the funeral speech, the friend’s philosophy in life may also be included. Aside from this, personal achievements like medals and awards gained would be great to add so people would be reminded of how that person lived life fully. Once everything is in, it’s important to draft and organize all the information so a theme or a tone of the piece may be established.

Sample Eulogy For A Friend:

I would like to say a few words about my friend Samantha. She and I have been friends since university, which was over forty years ago. She has always been there when I needed her and will miss her dearly. Samantha was a hard-working, intelligent, caring and very thoughtful person. She was very close to her friends and family and had a lot of people who cared about her.

One of Samantha’s best traits was that she always lived her life to the fullest and loved to laugh and smile. Whenever I was feeling down and needed a friend to lean on she was there for me. Me have been through a lot over the years, but no matter where life took us we new we could count on one another.

Samantha taught me a lot over the years. She taught me simple things like growing tomatoes, how to knit and bake the perfect cake. But she also taught me more important things like the value of friendship and how to balance career and family.

It isn’t possible to put into words the importance of friendship and how much Samantha meant to me. She positively influenced my life in so many ways and I will miss her with all of my heart. Samantha, thank you for your friendship, I will miss you forever and never forget all of the time we spent together.
